A very different episode this week. With the country shutdown amid Coronavirus scares we stayed in Quarantine and Weezie called the guys from his house and they discuss what has happened to the Charlotte beer scene over the past few weeks since bar and restaurants have closed their doors to on-site consumption.
They also give you some stories of what local taprooms, bottles shops, and furloughed employees are doing during this time.

We are dubbing this episode “The Smartest Brewery in Charlotte” Why you ask?
Well, two reasons 1. Joe Vogelbacher is one of 19 Master Cicerones in the country. So we discussed the exam and just how he prepared for it. Then the brewery itself uses A.I. in the production area provided by IBM to help them with production and efficiency. Sugar Creek Brewery is doing big things there in the LoSo neighborhood.
Plus, Melissa Bruno Johnston sits in to talk about Biere De Femme Presented by Pink Boots Society. This year's festival takes place on March 21st at Unknown Brewery. She fills us in on all the details.
