To kick off a month full of spooks and shrieks we take a look back at the Ghostbusters franchise. We begin with the original movie talking about the box office, some of the development and what we thought about it over 30 years later. Then we take our first beer break with our IN beer 450 North’s JuiceBusters (bet you can’t guess why we chose this one). We go back to the geek with some discussion of Ghostbusters II before getting to our out beer from New Holland Brewing. Then we get into talking about The Real Ghostbusters and why it is called that, after which we move on to the final beer, a sour from Taxman Brewing. Then we finish off the show with a lengthy discussion of the remake.

They are four guys from Indiana that love to drink beer and geek out. Each week they discuss some geeky topic and review a few beers. They typically drink one “IN” beer (a beer from Indiana) and one “OUT” beer (a beer from somewhere else). They also sample a “Strange Brew” to try to guess what it is and decide if they will keep it “IN” the fridge or pour it “OUT.” And as if that isn’t enough they even do “Lite” episodes from time to time where one or two of the guys can really GeekOUT on a topic.
