When you think of Craft Beer in our region, one of the first people that comes to mind is Al Gattullo, host of Al Gattullo's Craft Beer Cast taped live in New York City on AM 970 The Answer. Al is also the Newscaster, Sportscaster, and Technical Engineer of the Joe Piscopo Show heard mornings from 6A-10A and one of the biggest supporters of Craft Beer in the area. I have had the pleasure of interviewing Al a few times, both on our podcast and on The What's On Tap show, so he turned the tables and had me on as a guest to talk all things Jersey Beer. It was truly an honor to chat with Al on what has become one of the best, and most relevant, beer shows on the East Coast (or anywhere, for that matter!) So if you haven't listened to him check out the show then subscribe on iTunes, listen on the Hopped Up Network, or check the show out live on Sunday Nights at 11PM!

A podcast 3 years in the making! Vic finally gets Jeff from Heavy Reel Brewing Companyand Zach from Gusto Brewing Companydown in the basement. Head brewers Greg and Dan join the group along with Tom and Richard. We talk about the history and growth of both breweries, some of their newest beers, perfect pours and what happens when a beer doesn’t come out as planned. We also get into a conversation about Pork Roll/Taylor Ham (Editor's note: it is clearly pork roll, taylor ham is blasphemy), haunted breweries and mysterious ice cream stands. Like Ozzy a little off the rails, but the train arrives safely.
