Arcadia Premium

In this episode I am emphatic that this cheese I tasted was the best ever. After reflecting on that….it’s 100% true! So Arcadia Premium has been a huge supporter from day one and I’m embarrassed it took me so long to get them on the show! Owners Joel and Lara join to tell their story as well as share some amazing cheese. And we even have a special guest pop in. Enjoy!

From the first time I met Jonathan Jones, I knew this dude was something special. And its not just because he makes great content or because of his salvia-inducing backyard bbq extravaganza. Jonathan truly wants to make a difference. What began as an unexpected abundance of great food quickly became "a bbq everyone is invited to".  Jonathan, his wife Ariana, and a team of great folks have turned that spark into Smokin' Hope, a nonprofit committed to feeding hungry people in Arizona. Enjoy the show!

Josh "Archy" Archuleta is quickly making a name for himself as a great brewer at Flying Basset in Gilbert. When we talked about making a session hazy IPA with all New Zealand hops it was a no-brainer. The beer, on tap and in cans starting April 30th at the brewery, turned out great and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Smokin' Hope, a local organization that feeds the hungry. In this episode I sit down with Archy to talk about his story, Haka Shakalaka and the bigger vision. Enjoy!

As if being a federal agent wasn't adventurous enough, Jeremy DeConcini decided to open a brewery at the onset of the shutdown of 2020. Well, ok, that wasn’t actually the plan but that's what happened. But you can’t keep a determined group of people down, especially when great beer is at stake. Jeremy is one of the founding partners of MotoSonora Brewing Co. and runs the place along with his brother Jeff but takes their whole team to execute the quality product and experience they offer. In 2018 the folks at Edge Of The World Brewery opened to an excited local crowd. Since then they have been making some great beers so much so that we can hear the rumblings all the way here in the Valley. In this episode we sit down with co-owner/co-brewer Ray Hammon to talk about how him and his team are earning their spot as one of the top up and coming breweries in Arizona. Enjoy!

If you've had a Tap That AZ Hazy IPA then you've had a beer canned on the Cano Canner. In fact, nowadays places such as Simple Machine, Front Pourch, and Button Brewhouse are all on the Cano train. When you see this portable little powerhouse of a canner in action you can tell someone with some insane mechanical skills built it. In this episode I hang out with the man behind Cano, Andrew Grady. Enjoy the show!
