WNY Brews heads to Lockport for a taproom chat at The Lock Tender with Seth Picarillo. We preview the Tap and Craft Festival at Buffalo Riverworks (Saturday, Oct. 4), talk brewery lineup, VIP vs. GA, how the floor will be set up, and the official after party at BriarBrothers (show your wristband for $6 drafts). We also run through fresh Oktoberfest action for the weekend (Hofbrauhaus Festbier tapping and parade, Steel Leaf’s multi-day party, Beer Kind’s Kindtoberfest, Gowanda’s Oktoberfest, Woodcock’s Cocktoberfest, and JL Fest at Johnson’s Landing), plus Hamburg Brewing’s Nitro Stout Mix Pack event (Oct. 8), Buffalo Brewing’s blowout beer sale, and Pizza Plant’s Tim’s Beer Show tasting (Oct. 22). Along the way we dig into Lockport’s beer moment (Big Ditch’s new spot, NYBP, the coming Shuffle City), what’s on The Lock Tender’s taps and in the cooler, and why West Kill, Drekker, Dancing Gnome and more have Seth excited for fest day.
