We sat around one Friday night to talk about the growth in the craft beer industry in the state of New Jersey and how craft beer continues to grow in the US. We also got to talk with Mike O'Toole from the Wort Podcast, a show about craft beer on Long Island.

  Sunday morning is a great time to drink beer and talk about it. Actually,every time is a great time. We caught up with Lori White, co-owner of Zed's, and a guest on a double episode of the podcast. We are joined by her co-owner, husband and the head brewer at Zed's, Geoff Bado. They are absolutely one of the nicest couples we have come across in the brewing industry.

  They tell us how they got started, their desire to make approachable craft beer and what the future is for them. Make sure you listen closely to Geoff tell Amy about a double dry hopped beer. None of us told her until later that he was totally messing with her.

  On a beautiful Saturday we packed up the equipment and headed to another awesome brewery where we talked to an amazing and generous woman. Torie Fisher is the owner of Backward Flag and a veteran who gives so much back to her fellow warriors and first responders. 

  She is one of the most interesting interviews that we have had. This definitely is a must listen to episode. If you ever have the chance to visit the brewery, make sure that you do. 10% of the tips get donated to a new charity every month and the beer is awesome.  The guys from Williamstown's first brewery stopped by to talk about how they got started and all that they have going on in their space. It happens to be an old bank that they have turned into an awesome little brewery.

 On a rainy Saturday we packed up our equipment and headed to New Jersey's newest brewery. Bonesaw Brewing in Glassboro, which had just opened a few weeks earlier. 

 This first episode of two, we sat down with one of the owners, Rich DiVerniero and head brewer AJ Stoll. They tell us their stories, how they came to work with each other and where they feel the brewery is headed. Their stories are great. Make sure you visit these guys, whether you're on your way someplace or just wanna brewery hop, this place is phenomenal and is a must visit.

 After a slow July, we are hitting it hard in August with the first part of an episode featuring women in the South Jersey beer business. We are joined by Lori White, co-owner along with her husband Geoff Bado of Zed's Brewing in Marlton and Kristen Wilson, front end manager and self proclaimed den mom at Eight & Sand Brewing in Woodbury.

  These awesome ladies know their beer and the business around it. They are also members of the Pink Boots Society and definitely get in there and get their hands dirty. Plus they brought some great beer with them that they had some part of making. Thank you ladies.

  Dry towns in NJ are jumping on the bandwagon and changing their laws to allow craft breweries and Collingswood is no exception. Kathy Abate from Devil's Creek visited our studio to talk about their brewery in a dry town, how they have become so popular and some of the problems they have encountered because of it.

  She also brought samples of their beer for us to try as we discussed the styles they brew and what their future holds. She let us in on a little secret on that future.

Justin and Ed from Kelly Green Brewing in Pitman stopped by the bar studio to talk about a recent can release, the first of a new series they are planning. Ed discussed the barrel aged beers that he makes and how the program has expanded and will continue to expand.

  A new month brings a new episode and it will also bring a new brewery to South Jersey. Westville Brewery in downtown Westville will be opening their doors on June 23rd. We got to sit down and talk with husband and wife team of Mike and Pam, 2 of the owners.

   We talked about the problems they encountered and what they are planning for their awesome space. They are a great couple and we wish them and their other partners all the best with their brewery.

 This is a very special episode which features 2 different interviews with Brotherton Brewing. Way back when we started our podcast, we visited the brewhouse and sat down and talked to Keith and Ryan. Our first attempt at an on location taping did not go so well. Frankly, we screwed it up and decided not to release it.

 We packed up the equipment and headed down to Manafirkin Brewery in Manahawkin NJ. They are right on the way to LBI, so it's an easy stop on your way to the shore. Todd and Donn are great guys with an awesome taproom and even better beer. 20 plus taps and every beer was good.

We visit Three 3s to try their beer, Unfathomable Transgression, a hazy lager. A totally awesome New Jersey style beer.

 We talk with Keith Oriente, one of the owners of Brotherton and Mike Geller of Three 3s about their breweries and how they got together to do this.

  We also talked to the guys responsible for brewing this beer, Mike Geller and his brother John along with Ryan from Brotherton about the ideas they had to create this beer.

  Then we grabbed 2 people out of the tasting room to talk about their beer.

Gill and Christian from Armageddon Brewing come in to talk to us about their plan to open one of, if not the first' Cider and mead tasting rooms in NJ.
